Screen UI
2000 StickNetworks

Screen UI is the overall layout of a given page or screen. It describes the general location of elements -- this can be very specific, showing all the details, or more general blocks (where the blocks would be described in greater detail elsewhere).

Usually general structures are worked out first, and overtime the individual screens evolve. Final UI screens usually involve a heavy round of back and forth between client and designer. There are alot of details to be worked out here: how the navigation system works, how and where errors are displayed, the workings of page components.

This is a specific screen of a handheld device. It was meant as a quick visual of what it might possibly look like. It was not final UI.
