The sameness. An attack typical in the morning halfway between sleep and wake. You could feel it in different parts of your body. A twisted toe from an awkward displacement of your legs, numb from a pinched nerve caused by the weight of your own body. Your own suffocating your own. You realize you have control over this, don't you? Decide to lay it all out bet ter next time. "Its numb, and I can tell that there is also a sharp pain behind it." Can it actually be painful and numb at the same time? And if you had a choice, which would you prefer?
