It ain't about traditional party politics anymore, neither. Probably more about religion than ever before. How many conservative christian democrats you know these days?
I'd be amazed if in 20 years parties and presidential politics resemble anything even remotely close to what we expect today.
I'd also be amazed, and impressed, if the lump in bush's back was legit. Also impressed, but less amazed, if this was a nice hoax by some designer types from SF who realized that if they simply didn't jerk off for one night a week, they could be creative firestorms sweeping across my screen.
My vote may not count this time round, b/c of moving and absenteeism and registering late and whatnot.
