IDEA BARRAGE: geek power
so as ben was on the phone with "Drainage Technical Support" (DTS for short), wondering what he should do about a failing harddrive, he mentioned the idea of a community technical support service. This is an idea that social networks are almost made for... well okay it wouldn't really work like a social network, but has some similar elements.
there are members, geeks like me, who've filled out a little profile (who's your favorite sci fi character, what their hobbit/elf name is, etc... ) who've rated themselves on skills ( websites, database, networking, hooking up a DSL ), and can be rated by those who use them ( punctuality, success, blah, blah, blah ) payment by whatever means.
