words on nature
Shell and the Economist have a writing contest every year. Last year, the question was "do we need nature?" and there were some good essays. particular standouts are the winner, interview with a fungus, and Nature versus nanotechnology: Reinventing our world one atom at a time. You might call one nature wins, and the other man wins.
This years question is a little less interesting to me "Import or Export Jobs?," although it is similar in terms of a question that is probably the wrong question to ask ( as a number of the essays in last years contest noted ), or not the wrong question but a question that presents a false dictonomy (sp?)
