Copyists - let them copy the morning

IMHO, we need to have a little more faith in human creativity. That it will always strive beyond intellectual property bull-puckey. In the larger scheme, 'copying' is never really left to just a copy. Even if you tried your darndest. It has to evolve either backwards or forwards. And human beings have an innate need to make things better, beyond concerns for money and profit. It is a false assumption that a copyist would not make the it better.

In the larger human sense, freeing information leads to positive outcomes. Its only when we narrow our thinking down to benefiting an individual, a businesses or a country that we start to think we can own information, and that we are actually creating ideas. I say it is a crime against progress to imprison information.

There are many artists who feel a great sense of ownership of their ideas, but these are usually the ones who do it for the wrong reasons. And that's why I avoid calling myself an "artiste" even if I do end up pursuing art.

A good combination of faith, communism, and anarchy.
