Progress takes many forms - new US font

The U.S. State Department made a bold step forward in the interest of international diplomacy: they've declared "Courier New 12" font obsolete for all U.S. diplomatic documents. The typewriter-style font is being replaced with "Times New Roman 14." The decree came in an e-mail yesterday stating the new font is a "crisper, cleaner, more modern look." As of February 1 the old font will be unacceptable.

Be a patriot - Use Times New Roman, the freedom fry of fonts, and protect the world from euro-trash sophistication
