Designers Are Lazy
Here is a formal request for designers to please step it up.
There are many improvements to my life i have been waiting for and hearing about for years now.
I could greatly use these well-designed innovations. For example, I need a single method for accessing all my documents, both electronic and paper. I always spend much too much time either moving or thinking about moving a group of idea-shards(TM) from one medium to the other. Here is the best i can come up with to make this a reality:
1. Paper-like e-material for accessing info. I can write on it and the writing will be stored into memory for easy access later. I can also read and edit documents previously entered onto this e-material.
2. Instant all-encompassing scanner. Like scanners of today, but more 3-D.
3. Database with natural language query capabilities.
4. MindBanana(TM). Banana wired to virtual reality world that you stick into your ear to read your thoughts and make into a coherent concept.
Designers, please step it up and provide us with at least 3 of these 4 items.
