Adrian, as an interaction designer, I have predicted this dillema. Thus, I have given you a x-mas tool which allows smarts like you (who misinteracts by having SUV'd their browser window, so to speak) - with an alignment tool. If I recall correctly, this tool supports large sized browser windows up to 12 feet in width.
